One of the best movies ever made. You have to watch it all the way to the end though. What's really happening won't hit you till the first credits start to roll. So be patience. Its well worth the watch.

By the way, I'd seen this film several times and thought there was no way the book could beat it...but I was wrong; though the book is quite different from the film in many ways, it still has that same magic effect and is even better than its adaptation! Highly recommended.

Christopher Nolan is the best director ever! And Christian Bale is the greatest actor! I'm glad they enjoy working with each other in that case, since they've worked on three films together. And Michael Caine as well! These three men know how to make a movie. Also...The Prestige kicks The Illusionist's ass :]

the real magic is in the simplicity of the climax of this movie. It was so simple that even if we all try to find the trick we wouldn't find it, cause we wanted to be fooled...

really really cool (SPOILER ALERT) I never thought that Jack here was replicated..but it was totally cool.. Christian's the true magician, It was just pity for him in the end..
