Large prime numbers (as long as 10**130++) are used in internet cryptography. The bigger the prime the safer the cipher. So finding large primes can uprgade your security. Well some may think, but let's be honestly, what's the point of Soccer, Football, Baseball, Tennis, Basketball and so on? Really, what's the point of them? 100 million digits in a number p is way too much for today's computers to crunch. It just requires way too much time
