Nice tunnel. It'd be a bear if somebody broke down in that tunnel, especially since there are no shoulders.

I remember driving the CBBT for the first time in the Fall of 1989 (October) and remember how crystal clear the sky was and the view from the restaurant/gift shop was so awesome.

The tunnels allow large boats to pass over top on their way in/out of the bay. Much more efficient than say a drawbridge.
