Saku had to give up because of a broken orbital bone ("eyebone") as far as I know. No doubt about the sportsmanship of those guys.

What happened at the end? Saku and Cro Cop had a friendly stoppage? That's very very nice. Saku is very intelligent fighter, he's known for taking down powerful opponent like the "Gracie" brothers; in fact he's the "Gracie Hunter". Cro Cop is also a respect fighter, not to mention one of the best strikers in K1, UFC and Pride.

sakuraba won this damn fight. Mirko Cro cop got lucky because his thumb accidentally hit Sakuraba in the eye. Sakuraba is 50 pounds lighter and four to five inches shorter but he gave a decent fight. Remember man, that Sakuraba has beaten Rampage, Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Guy Mezger, Vitor Belfort, and many more hall of famer fighters..
