wtf are you talking about, you think it is below average because they say "let it die" too much? serious songs say the same thing over and over to get a message across, learn more about music dumbass. and his tone matches the rock portions and slow portions perfectly. You know nothing about music.

Foo has been around since I was 14... 13 years later and they are still rockin out and havin FUN doing it, In this day of crap bands been shoved done our throats and disappear just as fast Groul and his mates just churn out great music. This is band that should be considered this generation Led Zep!!!Now thats just my opinion. Keep rockin out!

come on. this song is so below average. the only reason anyone listens to it is b/c it's by the foo fighters. don't get me wrong, i listen to foo fighter pretty often (i have two of their cd's, too), but i simply refuse to believe that people would listen to this if it were put out by a band without an established name. and, by the way, how did 'one by one' win a grammy. there were like 3 good songs on that whole ablum. most of it was just sappy noise. this song isn't that good.
