Growing up in the early 70's this song was it. Ever since always Bruce lives for ever as no1 singer... just love the way he paints a picture of what he is singing... Brisbane concert 1985 never forget.. best ever

I saw Bruce at Alpine Valley with a girl named MARY (Mary's dress waives") and there was "magic in the night" God, I cry too .... over 20 year later I still want to re-connect with my high school sweetheart.... for closure only as I am married with 3 kids and would not change it for anything.... but to see Mary again.... that corner of my heart would be filled... ooooh thunder road. If it makes any difference, cry at the song... let your heart go and enjoy the ride Steve

i;m the same age as bruce and it still gets me i ve been following his music since the early years and everytime he comes out with new music he,s just amazing writing and when danny died its as my own brother died his music got me through the worst days of my life including the death of my 17 yr old daughter in 92, god bless his mother for raising him and bruce for growing up the way he did

sounds to me like a version from '78 also.I remember the Capitol version in Sept of '78 and this sounds a lot like it. 1976? no way
