Do some research all rear engined Porsche's engine was based on the VW Beetle, it was modfied from time to time, but still the same engine. Many cars are alike but differently marketed, like the Lexus ES350 is nothing more than a fenced up version of a V6 camry, only difference is people are suckered in to pay twice the amount for essentaially the same car. Bentley and Rolls Royce have been using components like engine, transmissions, suspension from the likes of GM,Citroen etc, now BMW and VW.

Usually, a kid who loves cars can identify the car he's looking for when it's sitting in front of him, instead of asking to see it.
