they could have done a little better at the end. maybe the cop could have been pissed because he wouldn't take the picture so he could have added to the charges. when he got the soda in the car, he could have said that he tried to use it as a weapon against him. they could have started shouting 'drop the soda!' like he was going to swing it at them.
