Just as the title says. Here's the links I used: Reference: http://www.msfn.org/board/Inst... Download: http://files.filefront.com/win... Winrar: http://www.rarlab.com That's for the folks that don't have it yet. It's free, don't worry You can also use a program called vLite to trim down your Vista installation so that Vista will run faster and more resource friendly with 256mb of RAM. Here's a link to vLite: http://www.vlite.net/ Hope this helps!

Uhm, it works perfectly for me... What link specifically for you isn't working?

There's an issue where compatiblilty comes into play. If you get the BSOD (blue screen of death), it's usually caused by a hardware failure. For you it's your sound card... I would find exactly what your sound card is, google it in the following way, "**Sound Card Title/Model #** in Vista"... It's great that it's running fast for you!

Hi I have a Dell Dimension 8200 PC with the following Specs: 120gb Hard Drive 64MB NVIDIA GeForce 3 Ti200 Graphics Card 256mb RDRAM Intel Pentium 4 Processor This machine runs the ful version of Windows Vista Home Premium really fast as if it was running on 2gb RAM! The only thing that does not work is my sound Driver because when I install it it keeps on bringing up a blue screen and crashes (Restarts) and every time it restarts it brings up the blue screen and restarts again!

the link doesn't work

Yes, it will be my main OS but I plan on installing 4GB of RAM (the max it supports) into the machine within a month. I currently use a machine with 384MB of RAM with Windows Vista Ultimate, it runs fine, but no AERO. I wonder if it would be much slower with only 192MB of RAM.

I would believe so. It deletes the memory check completely. But, I'll warn you, it will be slow... :) Even with stripping it down with VLite. If you doing this for a fun, great! If it's going to be your main OS, I don't recommend that... For that computer, I would run a small version of Linux on it. Like PuppyLinux... :)

Will it work on 192MB? I have 64 set to shared graphics card.

Thanks! Yeah, some BSOD's cane happen. But if you find a way to get all the drivers, it should work fine...
