Why weren't those creeps behind bars? Because it's Vermont. In any other state they would have been locked up. Big deal they found a dead body. Great job? How about preventing crime? If the Vermont State Police had done their jobs the creeps who did this would have been in jail. The Vermont State Police let this happen. A cop raped a girl on duty. Check out Bennington County, Deputy Richard Forrest's conviction. The Sheriff's brother. Sex and drugs with underaged girls by town police. Sick.

I don't know of anyone who has gotten away with murder even when they are insane. Crazy or not they are locked up. If you know of anyone, anywhere who has raped and killed a child and got away with it on an insanity defense, please tell me.
In Vermont raping kids is so commonplace. That's why in a very small town two men were convicted sex offenders, stepfathers to the same girl and both were free. Raping kids and beating women isn't taken seriously in Vermont because of the macho culture.

the Vermont police and FBI did a great job. you would not see that in many other states in the US.

The LE did a great job in securing and documenting the evidence needed to put these sick SOB's away for good so they will never take away others' freedom again. It appears this case may bring other potential predators down too.
Brooke must have stayed strong and fought back against these child molesters, and her parents should be proud that she didn't back down. May she rest in peace and Jim and Janet recover emotionally one day.

Brooke never had a chance. The adults that were supposed to protect her put her in harms way. So very sad. How many girls have abused and or murdered by these monsters?

Sick sonofabitch. I hope they find him and fry his ass. So sick of "people" getting away with murder, especially of children, on insanity pleas. Take away this option and start getting rid of the filth. Make the punisment of these crimes SO horrible that sick fucks think twice before doing it. |
