Unfortunately it happens A LOT. We've had people call in who insult our religion, refuse to talk to people with a Southern accent, refuse to talk to a woman or a black person. People show their true sides when talking to a stranger over the phone.

I work in tech support, and the reason is important to get information like that is because all calsl are logged. That way, if the customer calls in again, and refers to his previous problem, you know exactly what's going on.
