Well, even though I have been mapping for Quake engine based games for years, Hammer's sort of new to me, since I've been mapping a lot with QED II for the past 10 years for Quake and Quake II. How is Hammer different from QED II, actually? Also, can this run on the standalone CS: Source, or does it have to be used with the whole HL2 package?

This program comes free with Steam. These maps are made for hl2 and cs if you play either you can make good maps for either one its very easy

downlaod steam, go in tools, download SOurce SDK (its free) then watch a tutorial on how to configure it.
