it wasnt obsolete, it just needed to have air supremacy on its side, its role was as a bomber to support ground units closely, not to fight other aircraft. latewar as a tank killer they exelled, especialy in the hands of rudel who destroyed over 500 soviet tanks and a hell of alot more! |
