F-15e's are slated operational until at least 2012, maybe to 2025! The A-C's WILL slowly be phased out though, hell of a run by any standards.

sorry i cant spell u jackass and the russians designed it when the f-22 wasnt even in action yet.the f-15 is not as advanced as the f-22 and there is huge difference

13. my godfather works for lockheed martin. he designed f-22, f-15, and f-16. u can look him up if u don't believe me. it may be the most advanced, but b/c of price and it has not that great of a combat record, it is the 10th best aircraft. f-15 is #2 b/c it cheap, seen combat, and most succesful fighter jet of all time.-Military channel, forbes, Jacob Forns (f-15,f-22 pilot.)

fact is guys the f-15 has the highest kill to loss ratio of ne plane better its a gr8 plane but old and with over 150 air kills and no losses in air combat it cant b argued but it is old and a last gen fighter technology has advanced let this gr8 bird retire with peac and dignaty well c how well the raptors hold up with the advancments in combat uavs

thats was an experimental model we tested thrust vecotring on ya it had wats called full thrust vectoring meaning can move thrust any direction raptor can only angle up and down partial thrust vectoring russians have a couple planmnes n there a couple smaller europeans planes with full thrust vectoring but the f22 has stealth thatsthe us govments plan russians have begun focusing on traditional flight aspects like manuverability n wepons we seem to be more focused on stealth

actualley qolax all that goverment propoganda bout f-22 being most advanced is cicumstantial its stealh ya point for that but realativly small wepons payload and only partial thrust vectoring make it less then ideal in a true dogfight so when u get 4-6 jumpin a few old mig 29s or so ya there gonna win but if they engage in a close in dogfight with sum the other 5th gen jets out ther they wudnt have 2 much advantage say a typhoon or mig1.44 or the su37 i belive also has full thrust vector caips

okay first of the f22 right now is the most advanced combat aircraft in the world.....it might be more expensive but its what keeps our boys alive....Theres a reason the National Guards are the only ones who use f15's, they dont see combat....I love the 15 to death but its not the best out there...So say what you want to say...i dont care your probly only 14 an watched top gun one too many times but w/e....

OHdaddio, ur a pilot as much as I'm the president. You can't even spell it. If the F15 had such crap manouverability (which you can't spell either) why would the Russians have designed every interceptor with the specific doctrine of being able to combat F15's. Go back to your flight sims.
