When I first heard Kraftwerk, I was terrified with the harsh robotic tunes that make you feel like a space POW. And that was in 2001. Didn't know they were big since the 70's. Talk about Futuristic groove. YMO sounded a bit Atari-ish, like Kraftwerk with sesame oil but can do soft melodic beats. I'm a Takahashi fan so my vote goes to YMO. |
