Was that a... uhm... horseshoe crab orgy at the end?

No they are not trilobites but like trilobites the larval horseshoe crabs do not have a tail. The tail developes in approx, two weeks give or take a few days on the ones I've raised. So often at this stage they are refered to as trilobite larve. Thanks for watching.

Great vid ! What is the 'trilobite' larva referance ? They arn't trilobites so how does this apply ? Thanks.

I have a phobia of these. THEY'RE SO CREEPY.
I shiver whenever I see them

Amazing Job, Victor!
Too sad I am teaching botany (nor really;), but I post it for students and marine bio colleague.
Though now in the ArLaTex area, both of us came from FL. Just in case you really work for Gulf Specimen Marine in Panacea ...
Keep Up The Good Work!
Matt
