Being dominant is not the same thing as being competative. AMD will probably come to rule this summer on the videocard part (4000-serien) and have a compeatative lineup of new Agena processors and ofcourse the Quad Core Shanghai, 45nm CPU coming along with a eight-core solution later this year.

When they can do so cool and detailed graphics, why do they make such an ugly girl!? :|

lets compare: AMD- first 64bit windows cpu, first to 1 gigahertz, first true dual and quad core, amd and ati are flexible when it comes to saving power. intel and nvidia are just big bullies with money.
doverman2 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
intel and nvidia together is way more dominant than amd and ati

AMD buying ATI was the best thing they could have done. Fusion is going to be a great money make for AMD in bargain builds. |
