The child that does the bad thing embarrases the parent because it reflects on them, it makes them look like a bad parent or something, Believe me, I have heard my parents say it enough in my life to know what they mean by it.

I met Alison Arngrim once and gave her a spanking. She liked it and kept screaming "More! More! More! Oh yes, give it to me hard!""

ok this makes no sense...why do parents always say "how dare u embarrass me like that"! when it was the child who did the bad thing and had nothing to do with the parent(s)?thats what annoys me

Spanking is not bad. Not every single person that was spanked has behavior problems -- it's the sad few that decide to act out.
Just because a few spanked brats turn into murders and losers, doesn't make it bad for everyone.
What research are you talking about? Sure there have been test done, but every one is different. Scientist cant predict how every person will act/grow in situations - they just guess/hypothesis

Spanking doesn't work. Read the research and ask yourself honestly if it helped people you know.

LMAO, that was too funny to see Mrs. Olson looking at the answers Nellie had written on her clothing.
I am sure with her petticoats Nellie didn't feel a thing but embarrassment.

All of the spanking and hitting didn't seem to work, did it? Nellie is still misbehaving. Nellie's mom is a narcissist, who cares more about her standing then Nellie's wellbeing. If Nellie is cheating, it might be because getting anything less than an A is unacceptable in her family. Her family is messed up, thus, Nellie has behavior problems. |
