capable of generating greater than 120dB SPL of frequences from 20Hz down to less than 1Hz!!! Read more at http://www.eminent-tech.com/ma... This video is the first time this invention has been shown. You won't be able to hear the low stuff on your PC speakers, they won't go below 30-40Hz for sure! The fan self-noise is filtered out in the production enclosure.

well ive got a vid on here to prove it.. so dont doubt it. and it was only with around 800 watts... as for 2.5 hz where is the point it that. where in music/movies does it play frequencies that low?. btw not tryin to be an ass about this.

Not true. You can hear down to 12-16Hz, but you can feel down to 1Hz... and also I for one cannot hear anything above 12KHz.

Yes, I agree with your definition of subwoofer. And this meets your definition precisely. Perhaps you're put off by the high frequency noise of the fan blades? That is filtered out by the manifold on the other side of the door shown in the video. On the audience side, the effect is impressive.

I doubt it but still that's 25Hz... try getting 140dB at 2.5Hz and then we'll talk.

thats not a fuckin sub
r32gonzo (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Sorry, thats not a subwoofer. My understanding is that a subwoofer is a device that can reproduce low frequency sound wave under controlled conditions. ie: amplifier. or your case a motor.
