NCH Supporting Families
NCH's early years and family support services cover a diverse range of activities, and we are the largest UK provider of this type of service.
We run over 230 early years and family support projects for young children and their families.
NCH develops these services in response to specific local needs. We understand the diversity of local communities.
We work in partnership with local authorities, other agencies and our service users.
We encourage parents and children to participate in the development of services, which ensures all our services are relevant and well used.
Meeting real needs
Most NCH family support services are based in areas of significant deprivation.
Our staff are particularly experienced at providing high quality services to meet the challenges of communities facing poverty, isolation and decaying infrastructures.
In addition to targeting the essential needs of children, we also work with parents to give them the skills and confidence to better support their children.
We employ highly committed staff, we invest heavily in their development and make sure they actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
