Oh sure man...but in Suffocation there's a man,Mike Smith,who plays drums and he's fuckin' great...and Suffocation is a technical brutal death metal band,so dude,who doesn't work?

you've got a good point. although i really like soulfly, my favorite soulfly songs are just soulfly doing the classics like roots and inner self. still, a black guy doing heavy metal is like a white guy rapping- it just doesn't work.

Derrick is not the problem. Their musical style is not the same. Their new songs can't compete with the old ones, and Soulfly is terrible in my opinion (with few good songs). Max and Igor should use the name Sepultura (instead of Cavalera Conspiracy) and try to write good shit as they used to do.
