the time is on actualy, its done by GMT time (standard for blackbox because airplanes change timezones).

13:34:06 to 13:37:44 (MILITARY TIME)
which is
1:34:06PM to 1:37:44PM (STANDARD TIME)

Maybe the slight detour was to get rid of excess jet fuel inside the tank, most likely to make a small explosion that would show people that the people who organized this attack have more up their sleeve.
