i am hoping to get one of these in a few weeks but i wanted to ask about getting a double bass pedal for it so that i could use it for my Roland kit and my acoustic what do you think i should do ?

Although rubber pads are a bit louder than the mesh pads (which are very quiet). It's kind of a light "thunk." MIke

Are the rubber pads loud just hitting them with headphones.

Mesh version has 3, 8" dual-trigger mesh toms, a 10" PD-105 dual-trigger snare pad, and a CY-12RC three-way-trigger ride. The One below it has 3 dual-trigger PD-8 tom pads, 10" PDX-8 mesh snare pad, and a CY-8 dual-trigger ride. I hope this helps! Mike

whta's the difference beetween the mesh and the rubber version?

i got the mesh tom version too but i paid only 1800$+tax, sales people made a mistake... you don't even need an audio interface to record, i downloaded mixcraft for free, connected the auxilary cable from the kit to the mic input found on every computer, and you just hit the record button and your set...

"Double kick...Kids love that one..." Haha Or just real drummers....haha

Yeah, I just bought the mesh tom version of the kit and I like it quite a bit. I just think the sales pitch would be better if it was a little subtler. But it's probably just me.

This is video at the NAMM Show, an even geared to music dealers, so of course there's a sales pitch! The TD-12/20 are great modules. At its price point, the TD-9 is the best sounding module available. Have you played the TD-9S, it kills!
