really, if it was fake, how did he turn it off, and then get the screen to come back on with that updater text? if the battery he popped in at that moment wasnt real, then he would have to be running some home-brew on it, and HB wont run on 3.50.

its not publicly availble, but there is some battery pack known as a "jigkick" that sony uses for unbricking PSPs. based on what i just saw, im pretty certain thats what he used. the memory card he put in would have the jigkick software and/or the FW2.71 update. (continued)

it looks like he puts in a mem stick or somthing then flashes the psp with that battery... but i wouldnt be surprised if it was fake, if it wasnt lots of ppl would use this thing
