I hadn't even heard Harry Nilsson's music until this segment. What a song! To me. this filmaking is just awesome, with the quick edits, shifts in music, and Henry's vacillation between important things (the feds, drugs) and the mundane (spaghetti sauce). Fantastic!

I always thought this was the perfect song/scene pair-up in the history of cinema. "You can jump into the fire, but you'll never be free". Nobody gets out of the mafia alive. Nilsson's amazing voice provided the perfect tension between a coked up Liotta who is being chased by helicopters. Pure Scorsese rock and roll cinematic genius.

This is a great scene, but don't call it last day as a wiseguy. He was never a wiseguy. He wasn't 100% italian and could never be a wiseguy.
