What is lacking with the Macbook 15" is the limited usb ports. Only two... A lot of the Pc laptops have up to four usb ports-Apple should get their act together and add more usb ports!

Yes and no, it is a PC in the sense that you buy it and its yours. But Macs are very "closed" you can't do nearly as much customization on a Mac as you can on a Windows PC. It depends on what your definition of personal is.

No a pc is a any computer running a windows or lynix operating systems,ie ibm, sont, toshiba, dell.
A mac is its own computer and operating system.... relying on its own hardware and software for success :)
And their so so much better for it!
Windows and bill gates arnt smart enough or good enough/confident. To build design and market its own hardware- or pc to run its windows operating systems.... So they really are the lesser of the 2 by a long way :)

Traditionally, yes, but because of the great differences between a mac and pc, they have now been deemed generally separate things. The way I understand it, anything running windows, etc, or is not Apple brand, is a pc.

I would say that either of them would be a good choice, although you need to look more specifically at the video/graphics memory/ card, aswell as the processor speed. If you are looking for an easier to use computer, and you have previous experience with windows, get the dell. If you aren't fussy about the operating system, get the Mac Book because it comes with great free video software, and it is very nearly impossible to make viruses for Mac. You will also need to consider program compatibility |
