I just got this a week ago, now they are going to come out with new ones next week. Ugh, I got it through MacMall though so I dont think I can return just cause theres a new one.
Oh well, I only use it for school work and browsing the internet, it should be ok for that right

Can this apply to ipods? say i got a ipod touch or something and a new one came out around 2 weeks later, can i return it, and get a new oen?

That is correct! They released a new version a week after I purchased the old version so I returned it for the new version.
