To each their own. I looked at both, and I loved the folding flat floor in the rear, and how easy they folded down. But, I hated how the spare was mounted on the rear tailgate. I chose the CR-V because it was better priced for the features it offered. The RAV-4's seats were more comfortable though, and I didn't have any issues with the leg room.

When I was shopping for a new car last year, it was the CR-V -versus- the Rav 4. Both vehicles do very well with gas mileage and both have been enhanced in a great many ways. The additional cargo space in the Rav 4 was noticeable, as was the BlueTooth hands-free connection for using your cell phone without touching your phone. The dash on the CR-V felt much more advanced, but the stereo reception on the Rav 4 was much better. I bought the Rav 4.

Other reviews also call it a chick car, but I've been in combat in two tours, can bench press 350 lbs and do not care how Honda marketed their car. Real men can kick the asses of those not secure enough in their masculinity to do what they want. Perhaps Honda should not be so sexist in their marketing and understand that both genders want a decent, efficient, reliable vehicle. I intend to but a 2008 CRV this week.
