First, what happened to that great survey concerning amalgam fillings that took place back in seventy's, which proved that there is no health risk (small amounts of mercury is released ONLY during amalgam placement or removal) Second, if your claim is true, hospitals should be full of patients with hydrargyria, and that is not the case. I think that all this campaign is aimed just to scare people and make them replace their amalgams with composites. And to PAY for that ,of course.

Nutrition will help remove mercury but unfortunately the only safe way to deal with this heavy metal is to avoid it in the first place. The antidotes to mercury are sulfur foods like beans and garlic, selenium, and a whole, host of vitamins. Unfortunately the nervous system in some people is incapable or very weak in removing mercury. Genetically termed APO-e 4/4 or 4/3. That includes about 15% of the human population. Just say no to more mercury and make the dentists stop implanting it.

If your only criteria for success is the absence of pain and the fact that the remnants of the tooth remain in the jaw for long periods of time then you are correct. If you want a dead root full of bacteria that constantly produce hugely poisonous exotoxins then keep it. Measurements of dead teeth find that many of them leak these extremely poisonous small protein molecules into the body. If your criteria for success is to not insult the immune or neurological system then root canals fail.

There is a lot of misunderstanding here so I'll try one at a time to explain. 1. The interior of the bowel is a skin lined tube that is technically outside the body. Swallow a marble and see if it gets into your brain. 2. Exfoliating skin is normal. The underlying skin is alive and protecting you. 3. Dead white blood cells are called pus and as Hippocrates said, "Pus will out." The body rejects and ejects dead white blood cells as fast as possible. 4. Dead red blood cells are recycled.

And even though implants have a very high success rate, they are still untested over 25 years. We retain all sorts of dead parts of our body. An implant is an inorganic, (nonliving), thing that never was part of our body. We have dead skin cells, constantly dying erythrocytes, dead fingernails and toenails, and we usually maintains some bit of fecal matter in us at all times. So saying that root canal treated teeth are like dead toes is just not a plausible comparison at all.
