the signs are things people have or either want. gay marriage is being underruled all bcause people all of a sudden dont have the right to be happy. and two children giving money to the poor are the people who actually know what they want to do with their lives. not only do they help, but also are direct because instead of being plastic and fake like most people these days, they have a heart and a brain. this is one great song to get people set striaght.

I believe the video is actually about how people constantly seperate themselves from others, e.g he's taller, smarter, more succesful rather than connecting by accepting the similarities between people. Segregation only breeds hate but acceptance breeds love. Our society is very much based around categorization and discrimination.
