LONDON - Gulf states believe Israel will destroy Iran's nuclear program rather than allow it to acquire an atomic bomb, an adviser to the Kuwaiti government and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) said on Tuesday. If Iran did build the bomb, said adviser Sami Alfaraj, then Israel might be one of the countries -- along with the United States Pakistan -- Gulf Arab nations would ask to provide a "nuclear umbrella" to guarantee their security.

Islamic extremists are motivated by and use our military presence in the Islamic world to recruit new fighters. Bases on the Arabian peninsula, and being the defender of Israel are the main reasons for the rise of Islamic extremism. It is not about our "way of life." Just ask the CIA, the 9/11 commission, or Bin Laden himself. You're right on Clinton in that he had several opportunities to kill bin Laden and didn't and didn't remove our bases from the middle east.

Whats fear mongering? That there are Islam extremists who want to kill Americans and our way of life - That if we do not take the fight overseas it will happen on US soil? I mean what fear mongering has been going on that others in Washington hasn't agreed to? The problem is that Clinton fell asleep at the wheel for 8 years and acted like nothing was going on that led up to the chaos we've been dealing with for the last seven. People need to wake up, it's not normal warfare anymore!

So what he was a weapons inspector, that's not proof that bombing Iraq would launch a nuclear or any other attack on American soil. I'm not saying thats what we should do. All I'm saying is blow holes like Ritter just spout out crap to put fear into the minds of the American people without a shred of proof. I want proof of what he claims will happen before I buy into his fear spreading comments.
