Yeah he was in a band called the Dissasociatives, i think. with paul mac, there okay, a little too tame, but yeah i love early silverchair, particularly the album freakshow, rock on!

couldn't agree more, metallica are a great band, but they are constantly the same, so when you hear a couple of songs, you've heard them all. I love how silverchair change, saying this, I wouldn't care if they went back to this type of music, or they stayed like young modern. Did daniel johns make a new band, and if so what's it called?

i listened them first time with their freak album and they really gave me great impression. Now they seem loosed. Anyway i'll still hear their first songs. Cool

Yeah I mean look at Grinspoon. You may not like them but they've changed over the years and still have kept there fan base they haven't copletely changed there sound.

I don't think people mind change if its for the better.. Having listened to their new cd, I feel like they have completely alienated their existing fanbase.

i was really disappointed when they came out with the last album, they were my last chance to listen to some good music, call it grunge if you want...but i also understand that people change. anyway these songs will remain my fave ones forever! :)
