thats why the modern turbines have gear boxes that convert power into speed, its most likely that this turbine didn't have a gear box.

l.o.l. i thought wind turbines are enviromentally frendly and dont create pollution!! it looked very angry well now somebody has to clean up that mess its all over the place!!! :)

Intriguing hypothesis
As a side note, I have reached the conclusion that cultivation of lignocellulosic organisms of substantial stature would reduce or eliminate the dependence on such rotation dampening subsystems altogether. On the other hand, the ultimate consequence of this conjecture is a systemic reduction of the motion of electron/hole pairs when demand for such arises.
