telemarker77; Carole King is, in my opinion, one of the most sincere performers on this planet *and that's rare in the music business. I'm apolitical but have long admired her views on everything from ecology to relationships.

I've always regarded Carole King as being a humanitarian, ecologist..similar to Bonnie Raitt and David Crosby.(automatically this constitutes "communism" these days) She hasn't changed over the years and that gains my respect. It takes guts to stick to ones principles. Saw her live in London in 1982 and that was one of the finest concerts ever. Hope she lives to be 200!

oh, I am surrounded by idiots... it's not about politics, it's about the music...Elvis once famously declined to endorse JFK or Nixon in 1960 because, as he said, "I am an entertainor, and am not qualified to tell people how to vote..." that shows awesome humility.

first of all, genius, you spelled Detroit wrong-but mistakes are expected if you only type with your left hand-what's to do communism?-is that supposed to be a sentence?-I will attempt an answer to what I think, but am not sure, is your question-Communism, and the philosophy shared by Limousine Liberals, and their mindless(you are included in that group) followers punishes those trying to succeed-Therefore, I can't 'get a girlfriend' or 'take a cooking class' because I must pay super high taxes!

Go get a girlfriend, enroll yourself at the YMCA or follow a cooking course. Everybody has the right to express an opinion and the proof and is that we have to put up with your dumb commentaries.

tooclose2detroit, I think you are more dangerous to society than the people you complain about. The hunter and gatherers were socialist. What the hell would a small village be otherwise? The real problem with this world is the at the top. Those are the guys that steal trillions of dollars. On Sept 10th, 2001, Rumsfeld told congress that the Pentagon couldn't account for 2.3 trillion dollars. It was on all MSM news channels. Google it. Plenty of money in this world--all stolen by your "heroes"

I have always loved Carole and last year I got to see her perform here in Australia, needless to say she was awesome!
