You got your words backwards dude! Brawl came out May 10th 2008 and Super Mario Galaxy came out November 12th 2007. Nintendo was already producing Super Mario Galaxy so they had plenty of time to add some SMG stages and stuff to Brawl before it was released.

helz na 360 is fucking gay as fuck i have it aand the wii is more tight than 360.. fuck 360 wii is better! you cant get cool games like this or metriod,zelda,mario, games like this in 360!!! so wii is better...by the way thats my opinion!

super mario galaxy came out in November 12, 2007 and super smash bros brawl came out in may 10th 2006. the game was made before super mario galaxy was even out.

this game is the only good game on the wii i use to have it then i sold my wii and got a 360 which is ten times better anyway if u wanna get this game dont buy it come watch my vid to get it for f ree

The thing that puzzles me about Brawl is that there are no Super Mario Galaxy references or stages in the game. Why is that? Now, I don't know if there's trophies based on Mario Galaxy, but I know there's no stages. Very odd. Nintendo had plenty of time to add a Mario Galaxy stage. Oh well, still a great game.
