Ron Paul discusses his positions on abortion and stem cell research with the editorial board for the Nashua Telegraph Nov 7, 2007 Posted with permission, courtesy of The Nashua Telegraph. www.nashuatelegraph com Entire 60 minute interview available at my channel. On ABORTION: Has an anti-abortion voting record, but opposes a constitutional amendment to ban abortion and instead favors letting states restrict the procedure as they see fit. Urges supporters to contend the federal judiciary that outlaws abortion restrictions lacks jurisdiction to take up the issue. www.nhprimary.com

I love the fact that he is 'pro-life', becuase he is universally pro life. The man is not a hypocrite like so much of the pro life movement....who support the death penalty and unjust war and then oppose abortion. He has quite a bit of experience with fetal life, he had delivered 1000's of babies, so I would trust him over most people. This man is a ture conservative, do not be fooled by the big goverment, war mongering, fear spreading neo cons

that lady is an ignorant cunt when she says that she thinks 3rd trimester abortions don't happen...research is your friend..it says they are rare, but they really aren't....wow......just look it up instead of looking retarded....

there should be a certain stage say 4 months beyonf which abortion should be legal/illegal.

him being prolife is a non issue...if a state wanted to make abortion legal...he wouldnt stop it because he believes in states rights...

it does seem strange to give someone the right to decide over another's life, but that other is not really in a petri dish by itself in this case. it's part of the mother, and it cannot survive without the mother. (there is actually a period after conception when the zygote tries to hide the fact that it's a foreign object, and if it fails the mother's immune system kills it) and it makes sense to give the mother the right to decide. is there anyone else fit to decide? not the government

not so fast. abortion is the killing of a cluster of cells (not "some one", not a human being). don't try to give me the crap about "potential". every sperm, every ovum is potentially a human being. any cell has the material to start a human being. killing a cluster of cells is not morally equivalent to killing a person, and saying otherwise is to have your moral compass out of kilter. surgery can also be cosmetic - who's saved there? AND cells are being killed pointlessly in the process.
