It can't address more than 3.2GB, no matter what it does, this isn't a software problem, it's a limitation of MATHEMATICS.
So, if you agree that 1+1 = 2 (and you should) then you will agree that 3.2 is the max in a 32bit application - ANY 32-bit application. Okay dear?

vista 32bit cannot use all 4gb. they will recognize 4gb but will only use 3.2gb due to the x86 32bit architecture. vista 64bit on the other hand can recognize and use up to 4TB ram if i remember right.

After SP1 all 32bit version of Vista will show you the exact amount of ram you have. But the 32bit version is only using 3gb og you 4gb that's because 32bit limitation. Check you self if you have 32 bit and 4gb go to task manager and click at PERFORMANCE tab you will see at Physical Memory showing only 3gb total. If you want full use of your ram upgrade to 64bit version of Vista.
