Robbie Robertson's song is very inspirational. The pain and suffering some firefighters go through in today's world is a very tough, challenging and hard job for any man or woman. This song is very emotional and the video shows the pain and suffering some firefighters go through everyday. When a retained firefighter runs out his/her door the husband/wife and their kids don't know when or even IF they will be back because they're going out and saving there community FIREFIGHTERS - HEROES!

This is my favourite song at the moment. Listen to it everyday on the way to work. Love the movie to. Currently the best firefighter movie. Its all so true. No hard to belive bits in it.

this song is such a good song and i love the film ladder 49- every time i watch this film i start crying respect for all firefighters
