Please count Obama out of that one.Its the one thing the whole world has no doubt about his position,AGAINST THE WAR FROM THE START. You may have ur doubts abt his religion, about his pastor, but his hands are clean as far as the war goes.

Fitgerald has several people he could go after, but how Armitage has escaped unscathed thus far is beyond me. I think he was hoping (foolishly)that Libby would turn on Bush once he got to prison. How could he have known Bush would commute the sentence without a single day served (highly unusual irregular, especially so since no formal request was made)? Commuting Libby removed the leverage Fitzgerald had on him, while now directly involving the President in the further obstructing of justice.

It was my understanding that Fitzgerald knew that Libby had not outed Wilson, but that Armitage went to prosecutors very early in the investigation and told them he was responsible. I don't know this in detail, but if revealing her name was a crime, why did not Fitzgerald go after Armitage right away? The last I had heard, the Wilsons were suing Cheney and Armitage?

Yes, you are missing something. The head of the CIA testified that she WAS as secret CIA agent. I think he would know. --And yes Armitage has been implicated, AND Cheney's involvement has been shielded by Libby's obstruction of justice and now Bush's commuting of his sentence.

I believe that Libby was/is probably covering for something else. I believe that Wilson did lie under oath; that her testimony leaves some questions that need to be looked at. As to the outing of a secret agent, I believe it was known by that Armitage had spoken of Wilson first and that she was not a covert operative at the time. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Nobody has suggested that Wilson has commited a crime except for those acting as apologists for this most corrupt and criminal administration. In the long list of people being needing to be investigated, tried and locked up, Wilson is a nobody. They need to go after the traitors in the administration that outed a secret CIA agent, as Bush sr. called the most dispicable of actions.

Do you think wilson should be charged and invetigated?

I hava no sympathy for Libby, except to say that he may be the only fall guy for the administration's traitorous activity in blowing the cover of a secret agent. I hope the truth comes out on Libby's scapegoating, but more importantly that the truth comes out on who all in the administration orchestrated this dispicable action. |
