somehow though i have trouble with downloading and burning their iso's, any suggestions?

openSUSE is free. 10.3 seems way more stable than ubuntu 8.04, i even managed to enable compiz with few clicks while using only live cd. something that ubuntu live cd cannot do.

Ah to hell with that! SuSe makes you pay for the "Full Version". GNU SHOULD ALWAYS BE FREE! I DON'T CARE HOW MANY BERYL EFX YOU HAVE!
