I've seen him twice live. The first time was with Jeff Beck, he played the gig perfectly. The next time was with Dizzy Gillespie, he played the gig perfectly. Very adaptable musician.

his drum solo is very enjoyable, the reason why I think like that is because of his solo was not a way for him to show off his talents, but to show people that a more grooved solo is way better than a groveless solo.
