A brief video describing the political events that led to the Great Schism. If I appear to treat the subject lightly, it is because I feel that the reasons were very trivial ones. Politics caused the Great Schism, not theology. That was used later, to justify it. I feel reunion not only beneficial, but necessary. There are too many common enemies attacking the Faith for the Apostolic Church to remain divided any longer. If you recognise copyrighted material that I overlooked, notify me and I will remove the video.

The Schism has been spiritual not political. There is schism no more; Papism, and its subsequent Ecumenism, is the most potent heresy Christianity has ever had to face in all of its history. Read the patristic texts by St. Mark Eugenikos, St. Gregory Palamas, St. Maximus Confessor, St Nektarios and many other saints and holy fathers and repent.

@DaBiblia: Normally, on Saturdays and Sundays the false JWs go door to door to spread their lies. How come you are using the Internet? You must be a higher ranking person in the cult. How much do you get paid by the Watchtower to lie publickly and distort the Bible?

@nomust: You twist the verses :) John said: "the Word became flesh". John did not say Jesus is Son-Word. :) John 1:1 says: "the Word was a god". So word was a god not the Almighty God :) So you can twist the Bible verses and be in your illusions. Good luck.

@DaBiblia John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." Therefore obviously John speaks about the Word-Son. That's the Apostle's words not mine. 1.1 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The Son was God from the beginning.

@nomust: 1.Please keep you man made terminology with you. SON-WORD, MAN-GOD and GOD-MAN... Do not use your pagan words with the Holy Bible. 2.The Bible clearly shows that Jesus is a god and it meants He is not the Almighty God. Think and accept the Bible teaching. It is good for your soul. Good bye.

@DaBiblia The text does not make use of the definite article (the) exactly because it refers only to the second person of the Trinity, the Son-Word. But it is better to keep the text as it is without adding the indefinite article because it would seem as though the Word is a God among many many gods (polytheism). But that is not the case. The text says simply that the Son-Word is God as the Father is God and the Holy Spirit is God. And the Father, the Son-Logos and the HS are the sole God.

@DaBiblia I am sorry but I can not see any difference in the meaning of the original text even if you add an indefinite article to it. John's 1.1 refers to the second person of the Holy Trinity, that is the Logos, and says that the Logos, who was incarnated, was God from the beginning. It does not refer to the Father (who begets His Son-Logos eternally). Whether you add an indefinite article or not, the meaning remains the same.
