Their service is also awesome. I flew GF in Feb 2006 from DEL to DUB via BAH. I was really humbled by the quality of their service, unfortunately they shutdown their BAH DUB service

i had apply for the Gulf Air last month as a flight attendant...but unfortunately not succeed :( i have got mail yesterday...:(..i have also applied for the Qantas Airlines...they are goning to contact with me in a couple of weeks, huys please wish me luck and pray for me :) thanks alot :) take care everyone :)...

Note that Bahrain now got a private airline called Bahrain Air, it will fly regionally I think as it's a low fare airline.

Really, but the other airlines like emirates get the british, australian, american and dubai pilots, but gulf air get the greek/russian pilots, not to offend anyone but the pilot i had was greek and he did 2 go arounds in good weather and he then landed rally hard and it hurt peoples srtomach from the seat belt. but

There is a good news that Gulf Air Company will change to Gulf Air Group whis will house around 7 companies in airline, engineering, cargo, catering and services and it will be owned by the government and shareholders and the plan is to increase the airline's fleet to 200 within 10 years.

I really respect your point of view, yes not all pilots are good, because they are all new and they dont have much experiance, but believe me, the majority of the pilots in qatarair, emirates and etihad where ex gulf air pilots.

That sounds convincing but I know that i wont fly on gulf air again. 1 is because i had bad memories on that plane and 2. it doesnt come to sydney anymore. I now fly on emirates and singapore airlines. in october im taking an singapore flight back to cairo. also i dont like the pilots on gulf air. there really hard landings and its not because of the doom period, some airlines have bad pilots anywhos thanks for sharing but singapore and emirates are 90% better than the rest, i
