No, males would probably just kill the bunny. Male cats are not very nurturing and females will drive any male away from her litter because they will sometimes kill kittens as well.

In fact cats have adopted squirrels, bunnies and other small animals. It seems to be a mother instinct thing. I do not know yet if males do the same.
