Don't they have a note, that the Artikel is related to an ongoing event? I found TV-Series updates too, you can look up something, when you missed an episode. I like the way, wikipedia combines enziclopedia and internet related stuff, because you usually get a neutral view on a topic.

I actually voted against the geriatric1927 entry on the grounds that none of the information is factual since it's gleaned entirely from his videos. But I'm old-fashioned about what ought to be considered fact, I guess.

Oh yeah man, wikipedia is all over internet culture phenomena. I love the fact that even when their articles are about all sorts of random weirdness that happens out on the intertubes, they still maintain the same dry, factual, impartial tone. Wikipedia is one of the very few sources I trust for lack of bias.
