I don't think criticising those who state the facts makes you look any less ignorant.
Look at the statistics, pictures and documentaries.
All the evidence is there waiting to be pondered.

There is no 1st World. There is the Old World (Europe), the New World (US), and the Third world (current euphamism 'Developing countries). George Canning, British Foreign Secretary, 1827, 'I have called the New World into existance, to balance out the Old'. Pinky's posts are always excellent.

No incentive? As an American citizen I can tell you I am probably more outraged by my government's lawlessness and pure inhumanity than any foreigner could begin to understand. (Exception: Those who lived through Nazi Germany.) Fish can't see water = Americans can't see "Nazi-America"

Maybe if we all got it, we'd treat each other a wee bit different and wonder at the anger of God when his 'children' do horrible things. That's why I only had to spank my kids once so they'd know I was serious. So fishy...swim in the brook, thank God, and behave...

It's true that the 1st worlder's voice is 10x louder than the 3rd worlders. That's the anti-globalization movement's biggest flaw. The loudest and most visible critics against free trade are 1st world activists but the truth is, there is no popular 3rd world movement against globalization. Sweatshops may seem bad to wealthy Euro/Americans like you and me, but I think the average person would rather work there than starving or dying of malaria as a poor peasant.

Everyone who wants to demonize globalization are simply the Luddite of this generation. People want to blame globalization and free trade for sweat shops and other negative aspects attributed to globalization need to wake up and start blaming people. You see man is a imperfect being and anything we do will have a downside and to act as if globalization is the problem lacks reason and accountability.
